Visual Artist + Pyrotechnic
Chris Winch works mainly with Lens Based media, Set design and Pyrotechnics. Projects include making large pinhole cameras out of caravans, Photocopied collage animations and Set designs with mural Artists Arts Anonymous for museums and exhibitions. Most recently he has completed pyro work with Les Commandos Percu and for the re-internment of King Richard 3rd which had a large, fitted set built onto the apex of Leicester Cathedral's roof, with pyrotechnics fired from it.
Designer + Builder
Dave is a skilled designer and with his knowledge, equipment and infrastructure he will be creating the lantern structure for LHK. He has previously worked for Walk the Plank,Cirque Bijou, Huddersfield Festival of Light, Desperate Men, Newbury CornExchange, Salisbury International Festival, South Hill Park Bracknell. He has wide experience of street arts in the UK and Ireland and brings these ideas into his work.
Music + Sound Performance
Tim will be contributing live sound and music to the performance. He has extensive experience with live outdoor performance, recent projects 2015-2016 include: Musical DirectorWye Valley Festival, Lead Artist on New Paths Avebury World Heritage Site,Composer on 'Singing to the Trees' wassail project, music director for SalisburyMagna Carter Pageant and Finale. Tim has extensive knowledge of the history and development of English rural music.
Design, promotion + engagement
Christie is a recent Graphic Arts Graduate and works as an illustrator in Nottingham. Before going freelance she worked as a Marketing Associate for Cobden Place having run their successful Kickstarter campaign ‘The #SchoolOfPrint’ and helped raise £10,000 for a new Print Room to be built in the City Centre. She will be running the website and social media channels for LHK as well as producing printed promotional material for the event.
